The OECD Economic Survey on Israel was launched yesterday (April 2, 2025), during the Secretary-General's visit and appearance before the Economic and Social Cabinet at the Government Secretariat. In addition, the Secretary-General's visit to Jerusalem included meetings with the Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Economy and Industry, the Governor of the Bank of Israel, the State Comptroller, and the Innovation Authority.

At all meetings, the findings of the economic survey were discussed, with an emphasis on the strength of the Israeli economy despite the war, with a growth forecast of 3.4% in 2025 and over 5% in 2026, and Israel's technological capabilities and the importance of artificial intelligence as an engine of growth for the Israeli economy were also emphasized.
The Secretary-General also received up-to-date policy and regional reviews from his hosts, and for his part expressed hope for regional stability and the renewal of the Abraham Accords process.
