Ambassador's meeting with PIO Director Aliki Stylianou

Ambassador Anolik:

A very cordial meeting this morning with Aliki Stylianou, Director of the Press and Information Office where we discussed the mission of the PIO and its key role in forming Cyprus' positive image both locally and internationally.

Bringing forward the human aspect and the cultural heritage as done in the Art in the City and the Myths and Tales of Cyprus series, is a valuable tool.

We also discussed our mutual interest in shedding light on a shared chapter in our history: the detention camps for Jewish Holocaust survivors in Cyprus.
