Held talks at the Ministries of Education, Sport and Youth and the Ministry of Justice and Public Order
Yesterday, the Israeli Minister of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Amichai Chikli, visited Cyprus.
He held a productive meeting with Cypriot Minister of Education, Sport and Youth Dr. Athena Michaelidou and engaged in talks at the Ministry of Justice and Public Order in Nicosia, and visited the local Jewish community in Larnaca.
Minister Chikli's discussions focused on strengthening Israel - Cyprus cooperation, particularly in areas such as Holocaust education and remembrance, promoting awareness to combat antisemitism, and addressing other key relevant issues that are of significance for both country and for the Jewish community.
