As I light the 6th candle of Hanukkah tonight, I think of 79-year-old film lecturer and peace activist Chaim Peri. Chaim, a father of five and grandfather of thirteen, is still held captive by Hamas in Gaza.
He was abducted from his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz by the terrorists on Oct 7th. His wife, Osnat, survived the assault, and is extremely concerned about her husband, as he is suffering from heart disease and is not receiving his medication.
