Community and Interfaith Affairs Department
The Community and Interfaith Affairs Department engages in the following activities:
- Serving as resource for community and religious leaders, organizations, and non-profits across the Midwest;
- Planning projects and events aimed at fostering introductions and educational exchanges between the Consulate and various communities, organizations, and faith-based groups;
- Coordinating visits of Israeli diplomats to certain neighborhoods, community centers, and religious sites to highlight common bonds and shared values;
- Leading engagement efforts with key community leaders in order to have a nuanced understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the Midwest, and integrating the Consulate through cultural exchanges.
