The consulate Public Diplomacy and Education Department acts as a resource for editors, journalists and broadcasters as well as digital channels, with the aim of providing information and official statements on issues relating to Israel. This includes areas of economic, cultural and social interest as well as political developments. The department is also responsible for enhancing academic ties and educational cooperations between Southwest China and Israel.
The Public Diplomacy and Education Department organizes interviews and briefings for the media with the consulate, as well as for visiting diplomats and other Israeli representatives in southeast China. Additionally, the department coordinates meetings for Israeli officials and experts from various fields with members of the press and journalists. The department is pleased to assist media personnel visiting Israel with written and visual materials to be used during their visit, as well as in coordinating interviews and meetings throughout the visit.
