Visa approval:

Visa processing time is 5 working days after receiving the complete materials from visa applicant. If additional materials are required, the processing time will be extended accordingly. Please submit your visa at least three weeks before your trip. If you are required to submit additional materials, please mail in time. 

Please ensure that the contact information on all the submitted documents(application form, invitation letters, work/study statement, etc) are true and accessible, and the applicant can be contacted. The consul has the right to require the applicant to come to consulate for an interview or to present additional materials in order to make a reasonable judgment on the application. If the applicant is required to come to the consulate in person, he will be notified in advance and an appointment will be made.

Please note: The final right of interpretation of visa approval belongs to the Consular section of the Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu.
The Israeli Customs has the final say on the validity period and duration of stay of the Israeli visa.

 

Consular notary instructions:

1. Applicants must contact the consulate in advance by email to make an appointment for certification.

2. Applicants must pay the certification fee in advance at any CITIC Bank counter or on the CITIC Bank online payment portal according to the notary type and number of documents. Please choose Chengdu as the application location.

3. Applicants must hold a valid passport (Israeli citizens can provide a valid ID card) to apply for all types of consular notary.

4. The consulate does not provide printing/copying/fax services.

5. If there is a dispute over the legal validity of the certification document, the consul has the right to reject the notary application.

6. The notary service processing time is 5 working days. After approval, the materials will be sent back to the applicant by SF Express, and recipient shall pay the delivery fee upon receiving the package

 

Notary types and procedures:

Signature Notary (signing official documents, forms, power of attorney, statements, affidavit, etc.)

Processing procedure:

1. Applicants must prepare the documents to be signed in advance. 

• The consulate does not provide relevant forms or legal advice. 

• Except for the signature and signing date, please fill other information columns in the document in advance. 

• Language of the document must be in English or Hebrew.

* If the materials are written in other languages, please translate them into English or Hebrew in advance. 

* The consul will only approve the signature notary after confirming that the signer fully understands the content of the signed document. If the applicant does not understand English or Hebrew, please translate them into the language that the applicant understands in advance. 

* Once the document is translated, it must be accompanied by a notarized translator's statement.

2. Email the consulate to make an appointment for notary: Please inform in the email the applicant's name and contact information, the name of the document and the purpose of notary, and attach applicant's passport frontpage and scanned full text of the document. 

Note: If you need to notarize a copy of the signed document, or if multiple people sign on the same document, please also mention it in the email.

3. After confirmation, the consulate will reply via email informing scheduled date and time.

4. The applicant shall bring the following documents to the consular section on the scheduled date for signature notary.

1. Original passport 

2. Original document to be signed 

3. Payment receipt

Document copy authentication (such as passport copy authentication, etc.)

Processing procedure:

1. Applicants must prepare the original and copy of the required documents in advance.

2. Email the consulate to make an appointment for notary: Please inform in the email the applicant's name and contact information, the name of the document and the purpose of notary, and attach applicant's passport frontpage and scanned full text of the document. 

3. After confirmation by the consulate, send the materials to the consular section via post. After the courier is sent, be sure to update to the consulate's email in time to inform the courier company and order number you have chosen so that the consulate can track it.

Security instructions for people who wish to obtain consular services at the mission offices.
1. Please bring original ID/PASSPORT (with a picture)
2. Every visitor and his belongings will be required to undergo a security check.
3. For security purposes, no personal objects will be allowed into the mission, including handbags, and electronic devices (phones are allowed).
4. Do not bring large handbags or suitcases to the mission.
5. Do not bring food and/or beverage bottles above 30 ml or containers.
6. The mission’s security directives apply to people in the consular waiting room. The instructions of the security staff must be obeyed at all times.
