Public Diplomacy

The Public Diplomacy Department at the Embassy of Israel to Canada works to strengthen connections between Israel and Canada in the public media domain. The department creates opportunities for Canadians from all walks of life to connect with Israel and Israelis based on the shared values of both countries by engaging with traditional media, being active on social media networks, organizing cultural events, encouraging academic exchanges and collaborations, and fostering connections with different communities in Canada. Our activities aim to shape a positive and accurate public perception of Israel, highlighting Israel's achievements in the civil society arena, arts, science, and technology. We place special emphasis on maintaining close ties with the Jewish community in Canada, based on a sense of shared destiny and common values.
