Federal Government Relations

The Federal Government Relations department of the Embassy of Israel to Canada is responsible for strengthening the political ties between Canada and Israel. The department represents Israel's political interests to the Canadian government and parliament. It also works to strengthen the relationship with Canadian politicians from all parties, to relay and provide information about Israel, identify common interests, and create a basis for cooperation between the two countries.

The department's activities include personal meetings, periodic gatherings, and political briefings for Members of Parliament, caucuses, and government offices. Additionally, the department nurtures relationships with the future generation of the Canadian political system, including parliamentary assistants (staffers).
