The Ambassador of Israel to Cameroun H.E. Amnon Kalmar Presented his Credentials to the President of the Republic of Cameroon H.E. Paul Biya.

The Head of the Diplomatic Mission of the State of Israel in Cameroon, H.E. Amnon Kalmar, presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Cameroon, H.E. Paul Biya, on Friday 29 November 2024.

As on such occasions, Cameroon's Unity Palace was decked out in all its beauty and splendor for the occasion: water fountains, detachment of the Presidential Guard to pay military honors, red carpet, etc.

After the welcome phase in the right wing of the Courtyard of the Palais de l'Unité, the Head of the Diplomatic Mission presented the President of the Republic with his letter of credence, as well as that of his predecessor.

The Head of State then offered his congratulations and encouragement to the plenipotentiary of Cameroon's friend state. President Paul Biya then introduced his host to his closest collaborators, notably the Minister of State, Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic Mr. Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, the Minister of External Relations Mr. Lejeune Mbella Mbella, the Minister Director of the Civil Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic Mr. Samuel Mvondo Ayolo, and the Chief of the Private Staff of the President of the Republic, Air Brigadier General Mr. Emmanuel Amougou, and the Commander of the Presidential Guard Colonel Raymond Jean Charles Beko'o Abondo.

Formally invested with the attributes of plenipotentiary of the State of Israel, H.E. Amnon Kalmar, at the end of the ceremonial phase of presenting his credentials, was entitled to the playing of his country's national anthem. This time the honors were on the left-hand side of the Unity Palace.
