Ambassador Sfari and Dr. Alek Oscar met with Mr. Sirakov and Mr. Borimirov
On 6th of March 2025, Ambassador Yossi Levy Sfari, Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Tadian Poplinger, accompanied by the President of the Organization of the Jews in Bulgaria "Shalom," Prof. Dr. Alek Oscar, and Executive Director Mr. Maxim Delchev, held a productive meeting with the management of PFC Levski, represented by President Mr. Nasko Sirakov and Executive Director Mr. Daniel Borimirov.
On the eve of the anniversary of the Rescue of the Bulgarian Jews, football club Levski has committed to adopting and joining the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's definition of antisemitism. In doing so, it follows the example of leading European football giants and paves the way for all Bulgarian sports clubs to take a clear stand against discrimination, xenophobia, hate speech, and antisemitism.
