Ambassador Sfari expressed gratitude to Minister Zapryanov for the Ministry of Defense's firm stance in support of Israel, condemning the brutal attack on October 7, 2023.
The modernization of the Bulgarian Army and opportunities for the Israeli defense industry to participate in upcoming projects outlined in the Defense Investment Program were also central to the discussions. The two sides also discussed the traditionally strong cooperation in the field of military education, expressing confidence that the exchange of experience will continue to contribute to the development and operations of the armed forces of Bulgaria and Israel.
