The Embassy's economic department deals with economic cooperation between the two governments, as well as between agencies and economic bodies of both states, with a focus on B2G and G2G relations.
Much of the Israeli economy is based on exports. Israel actively participates in world trade, becoming main market of foreign companies.
Over the years, Brazilian companies have become increasingly interested in the potential and prosperous market that Israeli industry has to offer. Commercial relations between Brazil and Israel have grown significantly in the last five years, and today Brazil already represents around 2% of Israel's exports.
We, at the Economic Department, work to promote exports by Israeli companies to Brazil and Brazilian investments in Israel. We are extremely pleased to work with the objective of facilitating, expanding and deepening Brazil-Israel commercial relations.
What can the Economic Department do for you?
If you are an importer, distributor, manufacturer, wholesaler, retailer or potential investor, already doing business with Israel, or simply thinking about the idea, the Economic Department is able to answer your questions and advise you in negotiations with Israeli companies.
Assisting in joint research and development, establishing facilities or subsidizing productions, creating strategic alliances with Israeli organizations to license, manufacture and develop the marketing of products.
Making the connection with services provided by Israel.
Providing information on Israeli standards and products.
Establishing contacts with industries and the government, in case of visiting Israel.
In addition to optimizing visits and scheduling meetings through the "Trade Promotions Center" in Jerusalem, the Israel Export Institute in Tel Aviv, and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce; advise and promote possible markets in Israel; familiarize your company with emerging technologies, offering information on the biggest innovations and product developments.
We also include your name in events, such as trade fairs, where Israeli companies in international pavilions promote their products, seeking Brazilian partners, distributors, importers and representatives.
We work to offer informational support for government incentives and financial support.
