Relatives of the Hostages Kidnapped by Hamas Visited Argentina
A delegation of family members of the hostages kidnapped on October 7 by the terrorist organization Hamas visited Argentina to raise awareness about their call for liberation and to meet with national authorities and leaders of the Jewish community.
During their visit, they met with leaders of AMIA and representatives of the Argentine Jewish community, who expressed their support and solidarity during this difficult time. At the Casa Rosada, they were received by Chief of Cabinet Guillermo Francos, who reiterated the Argentine government's commitment to the cause of freeing the hostages and conveyed his solidarity both personally and on behalf of the Argentine state.
At the National Senate, they participated in a meeting with legislators from various political groups and the presidents of the friendship groups of both chambers, where the importance of keeping the demand for the swift release of the hostages alive was emphasized.
They also took part in the Latin American Educators' Meeting, where they shared their testimony with professionals and community leaders from across Latin America, reinforcing the need to uphold memory and active solidarity throughout the region.
To conclude their visit, they gathered at Plaza Seca on Arroyo and Suipacha, where the Israeli Embassy stood before the 1992 attack. There, alongside DAIA and directors of the Hacoaj Nautical Club, they unveiled a commemorative plaque in honor of the hostages, reaffirming the urgent call for their release. We will not rest until every kidnapped person returns home.
